Waterfalls Of Oregon 3-Day Workshop – Shoot, Edit, Print
 Spend three days in the lush, invigorating forests and valleys of Northern Oregon as we explore the glorious waterfalls drenching the Columbia River.
The area along the Columbia River Gorge is a highly concentrated region of waterfalls and green forest and we will spend two full days shooting the best of the best. On the third day, we will spend time indoors in Portland learning to edit images using Adobe Lightroom and then printing on Canon equipment and Ilford paper.
The maximum group size will be 8 guests, making this an intimate trip where you will receive hands-on instruction in areas such as:
- Slow shutter speeds and emphasizing action
- Broad vistas and wide angles
- Sunrise/sunset shots (gradient filters will be handy, but not required)
- Nature details beyond the obvious
- Framing, composition, direction in your images
- How to capture more than just silky waterfall images
- Storytelling with images
- Editing your images with Adobe Lightroom
- Printing your images with Adobe Lightroom
- And more!

If you understand the basics of Shutter Speed, Aperture and ISO and are looking to expand the artistic side of your photography skills, then consider a Level 2 workshop. These workshops are longer than Level 1 and include extensive time shooting outside under professional guidance. After shooting, we review images and look for what works and what areas you can spend more time practicing.

 Individual Private Photography Instruction
Some people don’t learn well in a classroom environment and for those of you out there, I offer 1-on-1 individualized photography instruction. The two hour session is a non-stop exploration of what is important to YOU, first and foremost. Need the basics of light, shutter, aperture and ISO covered? Done. Want to move on to other, more advanced topics? Sure. Or maybe you’re new to it all and just want to understand what all the functions of your camera really DO?
